We are an inclusive, friendly community of people from South Birmingham who support a mass movement to change our society for the better.

We want to:

● Redistribute wealth and power from the few to the many.

● Put people and planet before profit.

● End discrimination, advantage and privilege based on class.

● Support the economy by supporting growth rather than cutting and selling off our public services and valuable assets.

● Invest in people to create tomorrow’s jobs.

● Provide protection in the workplace for people whose employers are treating them badly.

● Ensure decent homes for all homeowners and renters by building new housing and capping rents.

● End discrimination based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or age.

● Transform Labour into a more democratic party with member-led, socialist policies and the collective will to make them happen.

● Bring together individuals and groups in our communities to campaign and organise on the issues that matter to us.

● Harness the momentum of Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership to campaign for a progressive, anti-austerity Labour government at the next election.

If you’re interested in coming along to a meeting and you live in South Birmingham (Hall Green, Northfield, Edgbaston or Selly Oak constituencies) you’d be very welcome! We meet up once a month: currently the first Sunday of the month at 5pm. Please email us at

for details of where the next meeting will be held.

If you live in a different constituency, there may be another group closer to home: Birmingham has Momentum groups called Central and East as well as North Birmingham. Please feel free to contact us if you want to get details of their meetings

You don’t have to be a member of the Labour party to come along, but this group supports the aims of the party under Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership. When meetings or events are advertised as public, then anyone is welcome to come along!
